Aged finish taken from watercolor representations by Wells Sawyer, the artist who accompanied Cushing on the expedition. Based on Calusa masks excavated at the Key Marco site by Frank Hamilton Cushing during the Smithsonian-sponsored Pepper-Hearst expedition, 1896.

Each mask is individually cast and finished by hand with authentic detail and signed by the artist.
